What does Xeo mean? Innovative ideas that have yet to be discovered.
It starts with an idea. As we discuss that idea, it blossoms into a feature set and customer interactions with a business model. We summarize this in a technical specification that covers use cases, UX workflows, database design, the software integrations, and more. This sets expectations on what is in scope for each milestone and defines the budget and schedule.
Our favorite clients are experts in their field and looking to disrupt it with new technology. We partner as technology experts not coders and can build a wide variety of web and mobile app functionality in a short time. together we can accomplish anything.

Planning
We typically recommend fixed price engagements split in milestones with clear deliverables. Once the scope is agreed and down payment received, we proceed with full requirements and detailed technical design document. We manage the project using Trello so updates and status are a glance away.

Design
We have found it more efficient to start with a theme than a photoshop file. Beautiful, modern themes based on Bootstrap themes are plentiful and affordable. Some clients prefer to bring their own design team and wireframes, or we can create them.

Development
Our typical technology stack is Laravel/PHP/MySQL hosted on AWS. We have several projects using ASP.NET/SQL hosted on Azure. Our mobile applications connect using a secure REST API. Code is always secured in BitBucket or Github and verified on a staging server for joint review and feedback before going live.

Delivery
The delivery process is an agile process to verify both new and existing features on the staging server and push live at scheduled times. We have found that client feedback speed is an indicator of successful projects. Transfer of IP rights occurs after sign off and final payment.

Mr. Fanous is also an equity partner of Yaadi Clinical.

David Sharpe

CTO/XEO. David co-founded XeoDev after a long career at Microsoft in their mobile division, a full stack mobile developer and the Disney MagicBands project. Mr. Sharpe has 18+ granted patents. Outside the technology arena, Mr. Sharpe founded the first gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free restaurant in the Pacific Northwest and continues to track healthy food initiatives including hydroponics and urban gardening. Mr. Sharpe is also an equity partner and board member of Yaadi Clinical which is working to simplify the clinical trial process.
